Abstract (2. Language):
The purpose of this study is to conduct the validity and reliability study of the emotional resilience scale. Exploratory factor analysis was used to determine the scale’s construct validity. Reliability studies consisted of internal consistency, constructional reliability and test-retest scores. The Cronbach alpha coefficient was calculated as .83 for the total scale. Item total correlations were between .25 and .53. Test – retest scores showed that there was a high and siginificant level of correlation (r =.91) between first and second applications of the scale. Finally Emotional Resilience Scale has three component subscales and it can be said that the scale is valid and reliable instrument for the researchers who may interested in emotional resilience.
