Burnout syndrome provokes serious problems in occupational behavior especially in health care professionals. The aim of this review is to discuss the concept of “burnout”, its determinants and prevention and management strategies.

Tükenmişlik sendromunun özellikle sa¤l›k çalışanların›ı ruh sağlığına yönelik vurgulanması gereken önemli bir konu olması nedeniyle, bu derlemede tükenme kavramı, boyutlar› ve belirtileri ve tükenmişlik sendromu önleme ve başa çıkma stratejileri tartışılmıştır.
