Abstract (2. Language):
In this study the effects upon the Camarosa strawberry variety under the three different environmental conditions unshaded plastic greenhouse, continuously shaded plastic greenhouse and the open field were examined using quantitative analysis. In general, total values for the dry weight of the plant, the leaf, the crown, the root were lower in open field and in the continuously shaded experiments than in the unshaded experiment. While the leaf weight ratio was generally the lowest in the open field experiment it rose after the 20th May. The crown and root weight ratio in the autumn and winter seasons was generally high with those plants grown in the open field having the highest. In the fruiting period the ratio of crown and root weight was generally reduced and this reduce was most noticeable in the plants grown in the open field. The specific leaf area was generally low in plants in the open field and higher in those plants shaded continuously from the 20th May on. The leaf thickness was generally highest in plants grown in the open field. As for the leaf thickness in the other experiments, it was slightly high in the plants grown in shaded condition. The leaf area ratio was generally low in plants grown in the and, after the 20th May, was high in plants grown in shaded condition.
