In this study, we analysed the relationship betweencore competences (production and marketing) and firm performance by using survey method. Analyses of data collected from 221 manufacturing firms in the Çorum, Amasya and Tokat provinces of Middle Black region. showed that different competences have posivitely influenced different dimensions (innovation and financial) of the firm performance. Managerial and further research implications are provided.

Bu çalışmada, temel fonksiyonel yeteneklerle (üretim ve pazarlama) işletme performans boyutları arasındaki ilişkiler anket tekniği kullanılarak incelenmiştir. Orta Karadeniz bölgesinde bulunan Çorum, Amasya ve Tokat illerinde imalat sanayiinde faaliyet gösteren 221 firmadan elde edilen verilerin istatistiksel analizi yapılmıştır. Araştırmamızın sonucunda bazı temel fonksiyonel yeteneklerin firma performansının bazı boyutlarının (yenilik ve finansal) pozitif etkilediği görülmüştür. Yöneticiler ve araştırmacılar için bazı önerilerde bulunulmuştur.
