Abstract (2. Language):
In this study; usability of hypertext, hypermedia and multimedia, user disorientation which has very important effect on usability and measurement methods of disorientation are considered. First; usability and disorientation were examined. Then in order to design multimedia which has high usability, some design issues which could be taken into consideration to reduce disorientation problem were examined. Consequently; measurement methods of disorientation and their correctness to make a decision for usability of multimedia were discussed.
