Abstract (2. Language):
The purpose of this study is to examine stakeholder approach and hybridity which is described as the convergence of interests of public sector, private sector and civil society actors in sustainable tourism research field. The study explores state and non-state interactions at multiple levels, destination governance, the development of incremental tourism industry by means of participation of civil society and local communities in public-private sector partnerships, holistic tourism economy, social participation, provide triple win solution for three sides of hybridity in realm of theory and practise dichotomy, and clarify the social reality better. In this study, constructivism and case study research were followed in the context of paradigmatic and qualitative research methodology. Likewise, the research covers both explanatory and exploratory approaches. The research argument tests the establishment of effective and productive collaboration mechanisms in frame of common values and interests of public sector, private sector and civil society actors that has an influence on social welfare, solid tourism economy, active solidarity of stakeholders and the innovative governance model in developed and developing countries. The study is the first investigation which comprises comparative applications and sustainable tourism development in association with hybridity and stakeholder approaches in tourism industry. Thus it has an orginality, value and quality. In this framework, the revealed new outcomes and arguments will shed lights on future scientific investigations in tourism discipline. The research has a limitation in terms of scope and implementation - i.e. comprising merely the South East England Region (the UK) Marmara Region (Turkey) and Baden-Württemberg Region (Germany).
