Abstract (2. Language):
Organizational ecology has a perspective focusing on the selection process at the population level analysis, which cause it to differ from other organization theories based on the adaptation process. However, this approach induced several criticisms and has led to the emergence of selection-adaptation problem. The aim of this study is to propose an organizational ecology oriented starting point by analyzing the selection-adaptation problem and proposed solutions in context of the criticisms levelled at the theory.
