Abstract (2. Language):
Definition of the genus and species of the fosil record in sedimentary rocks in terms of taxanomie principles
led to the introduction of a number of terms used in systematic paleontology. In this study on attempt is made to
clear the confusion arising from the misuse of the terms that are currently used in the paleontological literature and the
oral presentations by giving a crital rewiev of the terms used particularly in systematic paleontology.
