Abstract (2. Language):
In this study, knowledge economy and internet economy, added to the literature and subject to different studies in recent years, and e-commerce activities, mentioned in internet and of which transform business applications radically, are discussed. The knowledge economy is emerging from two defining forces; the rise in knowledge intensity of economic activities, and the increasing globalisation of economic affairs. The rise in knowledge intensity is being driven by the combined forces of the information technology revolution and the increasing pace of technological change. Knowledge distribution through formal and informal networks is essential to economic performance. Knowledge is increasingly being codified and transmitted through computer and communications networks in the emerging information society. Electronic commerce over the internet is a new way of conducting business. It has begun to radically change economic activities and social environment, though it is new. Besides, the use of internet in business activities generates a series of effectiveness. Internet enables to tarnsmit knowledge fastly, easily and cheaply in firm and across firms. The use of internet as a manegement tool may have considerable potential for improving efficiency in many sectors of the ecocomy. One of the major features of the internet revolution is its potential to maket he whole economic system, nationally and internationally, more competitive.Abstract (Original Language):
Bu çalışmada, son yıllarda literatüre giren ve farklı çalışmalara konu olan bilgi ekonomisi ve internet ekonomisi kavramı ile büyük ölçüde internetle birlikte anılan ve işletmelerin iş uygulamalarını temelinden dönüşüme uğratan e-ticaret faaliyetleri konu edilmektedir. Bilgi ekonomisi iki belirgin güçten ortaya çıkmaktadır; ekonomik faaliyetlerde artan bilgi yoğunluğu ve ekonomik işlerin küreselleşmesindeki artış. Bilgi yoğunluğundaki artış, enformasyon teknolojisi devrimi ve teknolojik değişmenin bütünleşmiş gücünden büyük ölçüde etkilenmektedir. Resmi ve gayri resmi ağlar yoluyla bilgi dağılımı, ekonomik performans açısından büyük önem taşımaktadır. Bilgi, ortaya çıkmakta olan bilgi toplumunda bilgisayar ve iletişim ağları yoluyla gittikçe artan bir oranda kodlanmakta ve iletilmektedirler. İnternet üzerinden e-ticaret, işletme yönetiminin yeni bir yoludur. Henüz yeni olmasına karşın, ekonomik faaliyetleri ve sosyal çevreyi köklü biçimde değiştirmeye başlamıştır. Bununla birlikte, işletme faaliyetleri içerisinde internet kullanımı, bir dizi faydalara yol açmaktadır. İnternet, işletme içi ve işletmeler arasında bilginin daha hızlı, kolay ve daha az maliyetli olarak aktarılmasını mümkün kılmaktadır. İnternetin bir yönetim aracı olarak kullanılması, ekonominin birçok sektöründe etkinliği arttırmak için büyük bir potansiyel yaratmıştır. İnternet devriminin diğer bir önemli özelliği de ulusal ve uluslararası olarak tüm ekonomik sistemi daha rekabetçi yapma potansiyelidir.
