Advertisements are criticized about (heir careless constructed messages that guide communities negatively. Although social responsibility is a different subject, the persuasion rale of advertisements cannot be denied, f-'rom the message construction point of view this paper aims to analyze male role models in Turkish woman's/man's magazines. 123 advertisements over 5 magazines for three mounts period are selected for qualitative and quantitative analyzes. And the results of toomen's and men's magazines are evaluated single-sided and comparatively
