The Balanced Scorecard (BSC) is a performance management system that can be used in any size of organization. BSC provides a comprehensive framework for managerial system of organization to clarify their vision and strategy and translate them into action. In this framework, performance indicators consist of four perspectives; financial, customer, internel business process and learning and growth. BSC is applied in hospitals by management as a new performance and strategic management system. This article discusses how to build and develop a BSC performance system and presents the potential benefits of BSC to hospital management.

Dengeli Puan Cetveli (Balanced scorecard) her büyüklükteki organizasyonda kullanılabilecek bir performans yönetim sistemidir. Dengeli Puan cetveli (BSC) organizasyonun vizyon ve stratejisini açıklayan ve bunlarıfaaliyetlere dönüştüren yönetim sistemi için bir çerçeve oluşturur. Bu çerçevede performans göstergeleri dört perspektifte toplanır: Finansal, müşteri, iç işsüreçleri ve öğrenme ve büyüme. Performans ölçme ve stratejik yönetim sistemi olan Dengeli Puan Cetveli (BSC), hastanelere uyarlanan yeni araçlardan biridir. Bu makalede Dengeli Puan Cetveli (BSC) performans ölçme sisteminin nasıl oluşturulacağıve geliştirileceği tartışılmakta ve Dengeli Puan Cetveli’nin hastane yönetimindeki yararlarından bahsedilmektedir.
