Generaly in the studies that uses data enveloping analysis only efficiency level is calculated. But congestions and slacks should be determined for the purpose to determine which inputs are used inefficiently in what level and to determine its reason. . In this study these variables which have been quite neglected until now, are calculated. As a result the efficiency level for the hospitals examined is found out very low level like 0.522.

Veri zarflama analizini kullanan çalısmalarda genellikle sadece teknik etkinlik düzeyi hesaplanmaktadır. Fakat girdilerin hangilerinin ne düzeyde etkinsiz kullanıldıgı ve nedenlerinin belirlenmesi açısından girdi tıkanıklıgı ve aylak girdilerinde belirlenmesi gerekmektedir. Bu çalısmada simdiye kadar oldukça ihmal edilmis bu degiskenler hesaplanmıstır. Sonuç olarak incelenen hastanelerde etkinlik düzeyi 0.522 gibi çok düsük düzeye sahip oldugu anlasılmıstır.
