Abstract (2. Language): 
The purpose of this study is to identify of teacher’s views about the effects of Internet on adolescents’ socialization. The research is based on a mix method which quantitative and qualitative methods are used together. The population of this study is composed teachers in the second stage of the primary education in Karsiyaka and Bornova districts of Izmir. In the process of quantative data collection, 505 teachers and in the process of qualitative data collection, 27 teachers were joined to research. In the study researcher-developed questionnaires and semi-structured interview forms were used. In the process of data analysis, descriptive statistical methods as well as chi-square independence test and A.J. Greimas' actantial model as one of the text analysis model of semiotics was used. In conclusion, teachers think that internet affects adolescent’s socialization negatively and there is insufficient knowledge and experience regarding adolescent period among teachers. In line with these results of the research, some suggestions are presented.

Bu araştırmanın amacı, internetin ergenlerin toplumsallaşmasındaki etkilerine ilişkin öğretmen görüşlerinin belirlenmesidir. Araştırma, nitel ve nicel desenlerin birlikte kullanıldığı eklektik bir çalışmadır. Araştırmanın evrenini, İzmir’in Bornova ve Karşıyaka ilçelerindeki ilköğretim okullarında II. kademede görev yapmakta olan öğretmenler oluşturmaktadır. Nicel verilerin toplanmasında, 505; nitel veriler için ise, 27 öğretmen ile çalışılmıştır. Çalışmada araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen öğretmen anketi ile yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formları kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada, tanımlayıcı istatistik metotları, ki-kare bağımsızlık testi ile göstergebilimin metin çözümleme modellerinden A.J. Greimas’ın eyleyenler modeli (actantial model) kullanılmıştır. Sonuç olarak öğretmenlerin, internetin ergenlerin toplumsallaşmasına olumsuz etkileri olduğunu düşündükleri ayrıca ergenlik dönemi konusunda yeterli bilgi ve deneyime sahip olmadıkları belirlenmiştir. Araştırmanın bu sonuçları doğrultusunda bazı öneriler sunulmuştur.
