Abstract (2. Language):
In sectors like health services where costs of service provision is considerably higher, physicians’ job satisfaction appears to be a significant issue for careful study because it will substantially effect the quality, continuity, cost and output of health services. When, on the other hand, we take into account the fact that unsatisfied employees often always result in unsatisfied customers, the importance of job satisfaction especially in crucial sectors like health services becomes more obvious. Having first identified that clinician physicians’ job satisfaction in public health services is much lower than their counterparts in private health services, this research attempts to determine the reasons behind such lower levels of job satisfaction in public health services.
