Abstract (2. Language):
Cervical cancer is a common disease, can be treated with 95% cure rate at early stages but also have almost 50% mortality in late stages. Dysplasia can be detected before progression to cancer by using screening tests and treated effectively and easily. In this review, a screening test for cervical cancer PAP smear that must become widespread in our country will be discussed.
Abstract (Original Language):
Serviks kanseri kadınlarda yaygın olarak görülen, erken tanı konduğunda % 95 kür sağlanabilen ancak geç kalındığında %50'lere varan mortalite oranına sahip bir hastalıktır. Tarama yöntemlerinin kullanımı sayesinde erken yaşlarda displazi henüz kansere dönüşmeden yakalanabilir ve kolayca tedavi edilebilir. Bu derlemede ülkemizde yaygınlaşması gerektiğini düşündüğümüz servikal kanser taramasında kullanılan PAP sme-arden bahsedilecektir.
