This paper reports an attempt to evaluate the opinions of 279 medical students on their anatomy education, and tries to give some comments on how it should be. Students answered a questionnaire containing 37 questions, where 11 were open-ended. 89.6 % of the students proposed that anatomy was not a waste of time, and 52.3 % thought that the anatomy they learned was not enough for their present and future conditions. Students wanted more association with clinics, 73 % agreed to have a revision teaching of anatomy after preclinical years. 92.2 % reported that there couldn’t be an anatomy education without cadaver, and 70.3 % were willing to dissect. And multiple choice + assay type mixed examination was preferred by 47.3 %. This study which contains the thoughts of the students is presented in order to help education.

Bu çalışmada 279 tıp öğrencisinin anatomi eğitimi ile ilgili görüşleri değerlendirilmiş ve anatomi eğitiminin nasıl olması gerektiği konusundaki yorumları toplanmaya çalışılmıştır. Öğrenciler, 11 tanesi açık uçlu olmak üzere toplam 37 soru içeren bir ankete yanıt verdiler. Öğrencilerin % 89.6’sının, anatomi eğitimini bir vakit kaybı olarak görmedikleri, buna karşılık % 52.3 oranında öğrencinin, verilen anatomi eğitiminin geleceğe yönelik ihtiyaçlarını karşılamaktan uzak olduğunu ifade ettikleri görülmüştür. % 73 oranında öğrenci, tıp eğitiminin ileri dönemlerinde hatırlatma derslerinin gerekli olduğunu belirtmişlerdir. Öğrencilerin % 92.2’si kadavrasız anatomi eğitimini düşünemediklerini bildirirken, % 70.3 oranında öğrenci kadavra disseksiyonuna fiilen katılmayı istediklerini bildirmiştir. Öğrencilerin seçmeli ve açık uçlu soruların yer aldığı bir anatomi sınavını ise % 47.3 oranında tercih ettikleri görülmüştür. Öğrenci görüşlerini içeren bu çalışma, eğitime yardımcı olabileceği inancıyle sunulmuştur.
