Obstructive sleep apnea syndrome is very common with which snoring is closely associated.These patient refer to the doctor only after repeated warnings of their spouses and believe the existing symptoms to be results of everyday stress. Because of the serious nature of the complications it is extremely important to recognize the illness and aim for an early diagnosis and treatment.

Obstrüktif uyku apnesi sendromu, oldukça yaygın görülür ve daima horlama ile birliktedir. Bu hastalar ancak eşlerinin uyarıları üzerine hekime giderler ve mevcut bulguları gün içi strese ve yorgunluğa bağlarlar. Yarattığı komplikasyonların ciddiyeti nedeni ile hastalığı tanımak ve erken tanı koyarak tedavi etmek önem kazanmaktadır.
