Abstract (2. Language):
In this article, writer examines plays that translated in Republican Era in
an historical point of view. Author researches historical moments of these plays
from the beginning. She also argues studies in these fields from a critical perspective.
The article that examines problems of translations brings up a list of
translation activities in the Republican Era. According to the writer, government
started translation activities systematically. Then it is carried on by publish
houses.
