Before entering the world of economy and civilization to the point based on a very large role in the development of the underground wealth in our country take a look at the most important oil istihsalinin feel the need and the necessity.
In 1933, for the first time in our country petroleum exploration and exploitation of oil exploration started by the Administration was founded in 1955 and is still in the Mineral Research and Exploration Institute, the largest and the country şümul move along this path mebdei on March 1954 with the compilation of the Petroleum Law No. 6326 which entered into force of has begun.
Oil calls that require a wide range of specialty and large capital is a risky business taking into account the Government in November 1952 by a decree published by hand to accept the principle of petroleum research and private enterprise have announced. Following the publication of the adoption of this Law, the Petroleum Regulations, Turkish and foreigner the right to oil, many oil companies have been able to acquire a large and widespread across the country and search activity was transferred to the field. Determined in this way mıntıkalarda 13 companies are currently operating executive. Esas konumuza girmeden evvel dünya iktisadiyatı ve medeniyetinde çok büyük rolü olan yer altı servetlerinin en önemlisi petrol istihsalinin memleketimizde gelişimine bir göz atmak lüzum ve zaruretini hissetmekteyiz.
Memleketimizde petrol aramalarına ilk defa 1933 yılında Petrol arama ve işletme İdaresi tarafından başlanmış ve 1955 senesinde kurulan Maden Tetkik ve Arama Enstitüsünce devam edilmiş ise de, bu yoldaki büyük ve memleket şümul hamlenin mebdei Mart 1954 tarihinde mer'iyete girmiş olan 6326 sayılı Petrol Kanununun tedvini ile başlamış bulunmaktadır.
Petrol aramalarının geniş bir ihtisas ve büyük sermayeyi gerektiren riskli bir iş olduğunu göz önünde bulunduran Hükümet, 1952 yılının Kasım ayında neşrettiği bir kararname ile petrol araştırmalarının hususî teşebbüs eliyle yapılması prensibini kabul ve ilân etmiştir. Bunu müteakip de petrol mevzuunu müstakilen tanzim eyleyen bahis konusu Petrol Kanununun çıkarılması sağlanmıştır. Bu Kanunun kabulüyle Petrol Nizamnamesinin neşrinden sonradır ki, Türk ve ecnebi birçok petrol şirketlerinin petrol hakkı iktisap etmeleri mümkün olmuş ve arama faaliyeti memleket sathında geniş ve yaygın bir sahaya intikal etmiştir. Bu suretle tesbit edilen mıntıkalarda 13 şirket halen icrai faaliyet etmektedir. Petrol istihsaline böylece kısa bir göz attıktan sonra istihsal edilen ham petrolün tasfiye ve satış işlerinin tedviri hususu da önemli bir yer almaktadır.
