Abstract (2. Language): 
Esophageai achalasia İn childhood especially in whom belovv one year of age is a rare lesion and difficult to diag-nose. An 11 months age female infant has been treated successfully by pneumatîc dilatation, after returning of the esophagus to it's normal calibre there was no complications seen in the barium study that performed iater. After a follow up period of 12 months there was no vomiting or feeding problems or recurrence of the achalasia.

Çocuklarda özofagusta akalazya, özellikle bir yaşın altında oldukça nadir ve teşhisi zor bir lezyondur. On bir aylık bir kız çocuğu endoskopik balon dilatasyonuyla başarılı bir şekilde tedavi edildi. Baryumlu grafide özofagus kali¬bresi normale döndü ve komplikasyon gelişmedi. On iki aylık takip sonrasında kusma, beslenme sorunu ve rekür-rens gözlenmedi
