Abstract (2. Language):
The aim of this study is to determine if there is any relationship between education and potential of leadership. To do this, a survey was conducted on the officers, noncommissioned officers, and reserve officers in the Turkish Army in the study. Data collected by using Chapman and O’Neil’s “Leadership Potential Scale” were analyzed. The results of the analysis demonstrate that there is a positive relationship between education and potential of leadership.

Bu çalışmanın amacı, liderlik eğitiminin liderlik gelişimi ile ilişkili olup olmadığını belirlemektir. Bu amaçla, Kara Kuvvetlerinde görev yapmakta olan subay, astsubay ve yedek subaylar üzerinde bir uygulamalı araştırma yapılmıştır. Araştırmada, Chapman ve O’Neil tarafından geliştirilen “Liderlik Potansiyel Ölçeği” ile toplanan veriler değerlendirilmiştir. Analiz sonucunda; liderlik eğitiminin liderlik potansiyeli ile pozitif yönde ilişkili olduğu tespit edilmiştir.
