Abstract (2. Language):
As in all world economies, when the studies, related to small
and medium sized enterprises which occupy an important place also in
our country’s economy, are analyzed, financial problems take the first
place among the problems that these organizations encounter.
Financial problems emerge as capital deficiency at the construction
process and continue with the factors such as lack of proper outsource
and high cost of credits. These problems, therefore, make difficult the
efficiency and competitions conditions of the organizations.
The aim, in this study on the financial problems of small and
medium sized enterprises (sme) in Kars, is to determine whether there
is a similarity between the financial problems of organizations in
Kars and the findings related to former studies.

Bütün dünya ekonomilerinde olduğu gibi, ülkemiz ekonomisi
içerisinde de önemli bir yere sahip olan küçük ve orta ölçekli
işletmeler ile ilgili yapılan çalışmalar analiz edildiğinde, çalışmaların
çoğunda bu tür işletmelerin karşılaştığı en önemli sorunlar arasında ilk
sırayı finansal sorunların aldığı görülmektedir. Finansal sorunlar
kuruluş sürecinde öz sermaye yetersizliği olarak başlamakta, uygun
dış kaynak bulamama ve maliyeti yüksek krediler gibi etkenlerle
devam etmektedir. Karşılaşılan bu sorunlar da işletmelerin verimlilik
ve rekabet koşullarını güçleştirmektedir.
Kars ilinde faaliyette bulunan KOBİ’lerin finansal sorunlarının
tespiti üzerine yapılmış olan bu çalışmadaki amaç, konu ile ilgili daha
önce yapılan çalışmalar ve elde edilen sonuçlarla Kars’ta faaliyet
gösteren işletmelerin finansal yönden karşılaştıkları sorunlar arasında
herhangi bir benzerliğin olup olmadığını tespit etmektir.
