Abstract (2. Language):
Kutadgu Bilig, as one of the first important works written in Turkish Language, enables the reader to benefit from some views about state governing. Since it includes some valuable knowledge about Science of Administiration it is classified as a work of Siyasetname (a political treatise) and for it involves some statements about diffirent fields of work it can be also considered to be a work of Pendname (a book on ethics) and as a pioneer work of its time it has also some further determinations about the language and in this paper the last mentioned aspect is going to be taken into consideration.

Türk diliyle kaleme alınmış ilk önemli eserlerden biri olan Kutadgu Bilig, içerik bakımından daha çok devlet yönetimi ile ilgili yol göstermelere imkân tanımaktadır. Yönetim bilimine dair bilgiler içermesinden 'Siyasetname', çeşitli alanlarla ilgili yönlendirmelerden dolayı da 'Pendname' türüne dâhil edilen Kutadgu Bilig, döneminin bu anlamda çok ileri bir noktasında 'dil'e ait belirlemelere de yer vermektedir. Bu yazıda eserin bu son yönü üzerinde durulacaktır.
