Abstract (2. Language):
Ahmet Midhat talks about Nevruz Bairam describes espicially Hızır Ilyas days in details and festivals celebrated in these days in his own style. It is mentianed that these bairams that were not appealing so much before hand are more common among public, and afterwords it is also mentioned that they were appealing in Istanbul as well. In addition these days are also accepted as a bairam both among Eastern and Western nations.
