Local media and local administrations İn Turkey have important roles during Ike demoralisation period of the country. In this article firstly, it was deal! with hum local media and local administrations appeared simultaneously in Turkey as a result of Regulation and Reform movements in W"1 century and how they developed during the history, later on, is was evaluated that why local media and local administrations were not able to spread the democracy over the country during the historical period. Finaiiy, it was stressed that a local media which solved its problems trifl contribute to local democracy. Hence, it witl have important contributions for the democratic system to settle and strength ail over the country.
