Some Observations on Globalization This study focuses on the necessity of making an analytical distinction between the concepts of ‘globalization’ and ‘globalism’ to provide an insight into current discussions of globalization. This differentiation leads us to the conclusion that the protests of the groups who call themselves as anti-globalizationists indeed are not against globalization itself but against the challenges of globalism as a hegemonic power which has emerged during this period.
