Abstract (2. Language):
Comparison of the alternatives by taking into consideration of many evaluation criteria together in the business activities is an inevitable condition. This results in the development of multi criteria decision making methods. Some of these multi criteria decision making methods use pairwise comparisons and some of these methods use normalization techniques. A standard normalization technique does not exist in multi criteria decisin making methods that utilizes normalization techniques. The purpose of this study is to review the effects of different normalization techniques over COPRAS (COmplex PRoportional ASsesment) method which is one of the multi criteria decision making method.
