Abstract (2. Language): 
The purpose of this study is to determine the perceptions of the hospital staff involving patient safety culture which is a very important problem in health sector. In this work, Sorra & Nieva (2004)-Hospital Patient Safety Culture Survey which was adapted to Turkish by Bodur & Filiz (2009) has been used as a data collection tool. The survey was conducted to various levels of employees at hospital which is in private sector. A total of 181 hospital staffs were included in the survey. It's found that the average working year in this hospital was 2.73 ± 1.72. It is also found that there is a powerful relation between patient safety culture attitude of unit and patient safety culture attitude of the hospital (r=0,57, p<0,01). Unit and hospital patient safety culture attitude of the hospital staff, who works less than one year, is found to be high.

Çalışmanın amacı sağlık sektöründe önemli bir sorun alanı olan hasta güvenliğine ilişkin olarak hastanede görev yapan sağlık personelinin hasta güvenliği kültürüne ilişkin algılarının belirlenmesidir. Çalışmada veri toplama aracı olarak Türkçeye uyarlaması Bodur & Filiz (2009) tarafından yapılmış olan, Sorra & Nieva (2004)’den çevrilen “Hasta Güvenliği Kültürü Hastane Anketi” kullanılmıştır. Anket özel sektörde hizmet sunan bir hastanede çeşitli düzeylerdeki çalışanlara uygulanmıştır. Çalışmaya katılan 181 sağlık personelinin bulunduğu hastanede ortalama çalışma yılı 2,73±1,72 olarak elde edilmiştir. Birim bazında güvenlik kültürü tutumu ile hastane bazında güvenlik kültürü tutumları arasında güçlü bir ilişki (r=0,57, p<0,01) bulunmuştur. Hastanede çalışma yılı bir yıldan daha az olanların birim ve hastane güvenlik kültürü tutumu yüksek bulunmuştur.
