Abstract (2. Language):
The vast developments in both information and communication technologies have affected the societies' social and economic structures. Until 1970's the mass production was the most prominent type of production. Developments in technologies led rapid changes in product demands. Uniform, fast and mass productions were the main characteristics of fordist production. On the other hand, the globalization has let to rapid changes in product demand which fordism could not meet the expectations. These issues transformed the fordist production to post-fordist production. Globalization's effects on fordist mass production is the main subject in this study and will be analyzed

Bilişim ve haberleşme teknolojilerinde yaşanan hızlı gelişmeler toplumların sosyal ve ekonomik yapılarını da aynı oranda etkilemiştir. Kitlesel üretim 70'li yıllara kadar hâkim üretim biçimini oluşturmaktayken, teknolojide meydana gelen hızlı gelişmeler; bireylerin talep ettiği malların hızla değişmesine neden olmuştur. Fordist üretim biçimi yapısı gereği tek tip ürünün seri ve kitlesel olarak üretilmesini sağlamaktayken, tüketicilerin hızlı talep değişikliklerine cevap verebilecek bir yapıya sahip değildir. Tüketici tercihlerine daha hızlı cevap verebilecek bir üretim yapısı oluşturma ihtiyacı fordist üretim krizini post-fordist üretim biçimine dönüştürmüştür. Bu çalışmada küreselleşmenin fordist-kitlesel üretim tarzına etkisi derinlemesine analiz edilecektir.
