Abstract (2. Language):
In this article, I have analyzed the root of the concept of savap (reward) and collected the opinions with regard to its derivatives as well as its meanings. I have also paid a special attention to the verses and hadiths which mention the term savap. I have also examined this concept by paying considerable attention to those interpretations of the Quran made by the scholars of Kelam. I have also tried to bring out the discussions between Ahl al-Sunnah and Mu'tazila on the concept of savap. In the light of Kuran and Sunnah, these ideas were evaluated. Since this article on the concept of sevap was one of the few written in the field of Kalam, I believe that it can play a considerable role in other later researches.

Bu makalede, sevap kelimesinin kökü, türevleri, anlamları ve sevapla ilgili ileri sürülen farklı görüşler ile kavramının geçtiği ayet ve hadisler belirlenmiştir. Kavramın iyi anlaşılabilmesi için ilgili ayetler Kur'an'daki Sure sırasına göre kelam sahasında da itibar edilen müfessirlerin görüşlerinden yararlanmak Suretiyle kısaca açıklanmıştır. Sevap konusunda Mutezile ile Ehli Sünnet arasındaki farklı görüşler belirlenmiş daha sonra bunların Kuran ve sünnet ışığında değerlendirilmesi yapılmıştır. Kelam sahasında yapılan ilk arştırmalardan olması yönüyle sonraki çalışmalara ışık tutacağı, bu yönüyle de kelam sahasında önemli boşluğu dolduracağı ümit edilmektedir.
