The aim of this study is to determine the formal education achievement conditions of highly gifted students attendance at Düzce Science and Art Centre and get information about the differences of their achievement during the process when they also enrolled at Düzce Science and Art Centre. Survey method was used in the study. In the study, the data was obtained from 43 students. Transcript documents taken from the highly gifted students’ formal education school which obtained from data. A meaningful difference was not found in the year-end means of highly gifted students’ Mathematics lesson for recurrent three years who also study at Düzce Science and Art Centre. A meaningful difference was found in the year-end mean scores of highly gifted students’ general achievement for recurrent three years who also study at Düzce Science and Art Centre.

Araştırmanın amacı Düzce Bilim ve Sanat Merkezi’ne devam eden üstün yetenekli öğrencilerin örgün eğitim aldıkları okullarındaki başarı durumlarını belirlemek, BİLSEM’e devam ettiği süreç içerisinde başarı durumlarındaki değişim hakkında bilgi edinmektir. Araştırmada tarama yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada 43 üstün yetenekli öğrencinin verilerine ulaşılmıştır. Araştırma verilerin elde edilmesinde üstün yetenekli öğrencilerin okullarından alınan transkript belgeleri kullanılmıştır. BİLSEM’e devam eden üstün yetenekli öğrencilerin Matematik derslerinde tekrarlı üç yıl yılsonu ortalamaları arasında anlamlı fark bulunmamıştır. BİLSEM’e devam eden üstün yetenekli öğrencilerin, yılsonu genel ortalama puanları arasında anlamlı fark bulunmuştur.
