The role of human resource and its importance in Service Industry Business, the issue of career satisfaction has grown significantly in recent years. In addition, studies stress increasing importance of career satisfaction and a large number of factors, that effect career satisfaction. This study looked at the impact of transformational leadership and organizational trust on career satisfaction and mediating role of leadermember exchange quality. This study was undertaken on 293 employees in hotels operating in the province of Mugla and the data was collected. For data collection, questionnaire technique was used. As a result of Structural Equation Modeling, transformational leadership and organizational trust in the organization were found to have a direct effect on career satisfaction as well as leader-member exchange quality. It was also found that leader-member exchange quality had an effect on career satisfaction.

Hizmet sektörü işletmelerinin başarısında insan kaynağının rolünün ve öneminin her geçen gün daha fazla artmasıyla birlikte ön plana çıkan konulardan birisi de kariyer memnuniyeti olmuş ve kariyer memnuniyeti üzerine yapılan çalışmaların sayısından son yıllarda oldukça artış meydana gelmiştir. Kariyer memnuniyetine ilişkin araştırmalarda, kariyer memnuniyetinin artan önemine ve kariyer memnuniyetini etkileyen çok sayıda faktöre vurgu yapılmaktadır. Bu çalışmada da, kariyer memnuniyetini doğrudan ve dolaylı etkileyen dönüşümcü liderlik ve örgüte güven ile bu etkide lider-üye etkileşiminin aracılık rolü incelenmiştir. Bu amaçla, Muğla ilinde faaliyet gösteren otellerin 293 çalışanından anket tekniği ile veri toplanmıştır. Yapısal Eşitlik Modellemesi sonucu, dönüşümcü liderliğin (DL) ve örgüte güvenin (ÖG), hem kariyer memnuniyeti (KM) hem de lider-üye etkileşimi (LÜE) üzerinde doğrudan etkisi olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca, lider-üye etkileşiminin kariyer memnuniyeti üzerinde aracılık etkisi olduğu belirlenmiştir.
