Abstract (2. Language): 
Marco Polo's writings bring up western images about East in his own era. Polo's adventurous travels have some important clues to interpret an historical period more clearly. West had had information about East through trade and wars. And then West has recognized "other" world which beyond Muslim world through Polo.
