IDENTITY AND FUNDAMENTALISM AS SECURITY CONCERNS IN THE WEST

Journal Name:

Publication Year:

Author NameUniversity of Author
Abstract (2. Language):
The author argues that the Western countries choose to fight fundamentalism using the military tools, which may seem successfully in terms of weakening terrorists and their organization, but not necessary fundamentalism. The military intervention does not help to reduce fundamentalism. It should be treated but not through accepting the problem as resulting from the confrontation of cultures but building mutual trust and respect.
