The Role of Mobbing Perception on Organizational Trust

The main purpose of this study is to explain the relationship between mobbing and organizational trust. In this context, the main components of mobbing are determined; elements of mobbing process and the components of organizational trust are explained. Also, it is examined the organizational trust and the dimensions of the organizational trust. In this study, the data were gathered by survey technique (face to face) from 205 nurses who are in charged to hospitals in Erzurum. The effect of mobbing on organizational trust is theoretically explained. The research hypothesis of the thesis are tested. Findings confirm the mobbing affects organizational trust and trust in supervisor.

Bu çalışmanın temel amacı; psikolojik taciz ve örgütsel güven arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi olarak belirlenmiştir. Bu çerçevede, psikolojik tacizi oluşturan temel bileşenlerin belirlenmesine çalışılmış, psikolojik taciz süreci ve kavramın temel bileşenleri açıklanmıştır. Ayrıca örgütsel güven kavramı ve boyutları üzerinde durulmuştur. Çalışmanın uygulama kısmında, Erzurum’da bulunan çeşitli devlet hastanelerinde görevli 205 hemşireye yüz yüze görüşme yöntemi ile anket uygulanmıştır. Psikolojik tacizin, örgütsel güven üzerine etkisi teorik olarak açıklanmıştır. Bu doğrultuda geliştirilen hipotezler uygun istatistiksel yöntemlerle analiz edilmiştir. Sonuç olarak; psikolojik tacizin örgütsel güveni ve yöneticiye güveni etkilediği tespit edilmiştir.
