Abstract (2. Language):
In this article, it is dealt with the political philosophy of John Locke in the framework of his metaphysical background. Locke tried to root his liberalism for the natural law idea. However, questions of what is the natural law and how can we know it are the basic problem in this point. In this article, we tried to analyze the concepts of "divine will" and "natural light" which Locke presented as an answer for the matter and then discussed the value of truth of this answer from philosophical point of view.

Bu makalede John Locke'un siyaset felsefesi metafizik arkaplanı bağlamında incelenmektedir. Locke, liberalizmini doğal hukuk görüşü ile temellendirmeye çalışmaktadır. Ancak buradaki temel sorun doğal hukukun ne olduğu ve nasıl bilinebileceği sorunudur. Makalede Locke'un söz konusu soruna yanıt olarak sunduğu 'tanrısal irade' ve 'tabiat ışığı' kavramlarının bir analizi yapılarak, sunulan yanıtın doğruluk düzeyi felsefî olarak tartışılmaktadır.
