Abstract (2. Language): 
The concept of bullying has been the subject of many researchs in European Countries since 1980's. The first research by the European Union was made in 1995. In the course of time, various methods was developed to combat bullying which is defined as an important issue of working life. Besides the leading activities made by the unions and voluntary organizations there are also some regulations and actions taken by the governments and EU. Furthermore in some countries, the organizations also conduct various methods to combat bullying.

Psikolojik taciz olgusu I980'!i yıllardan İtibaren Avrupa ülkelerinde yapılan bağımsız araştırmalarda ele alınan bir konudur. Avrupa Birliği tarafından ise ilk araştırma 1995 yılında gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışma hayatı açısından önemli bir sorun alanı olarak tanımlanan olguya yönelik ise zaman içinde pek çok mücadele yöntemi geliştirilmiştir. Öncelikle sendikalar ve gönüllü kuruluşlar tarafından başlatılan çalışmaların yanı sıra, hükümetler ve devlet organları ile AB organları tarafından yapılmış çeşitli düzenlemeler ve çalışmalar bulunmaktadır. Ayrıca bazı ülkelerde kurumlar da bu konuda bir takım önleyici yöntemler geliştirmişlerdir.
