Abstract (2. Language):
Utilization of fosil based fuels lead to environmental problems, such as global warming, acid rains andair pollution. Furthermore, excessive dependency on fossil fuels has threaten energy supply security of countries, especially which don’t have any fossil resources. Recently, hydrogen has emerge not only environmentaly but also economicaly as an alternative fuel. This paper aims to generaly introduce hydrogen energy and economy, and to examine policiesimplemented by Europen Union, Lithuania and Japan related to hydrogen.
