The aim of this study is to determine whether there is a relationship between "organizational ambidexterity" which is one of the approaches that aims to increase the profit maximization by protecting assets in complex, variable environment, evaluating the opportunities and "personnel empowerment" which aims to increase the quality and effectiveness of the personnel. In this context, research hypotheses have been set up from the basic hypothesis that the organizational ambidexterity studies in the research will have an effect on the personnel empowerment studies or not. In order to test the hypotheses, a questionnaire was applied to 342 employees working in 478 enterprises operating in the furniture manufacturing sector in Adana province and the obtained data were analyzed by the SPSS program. According to the findings, it was determined that there is a positive correlation between the sub-dimensions of organizational ambidexterity and personnel empowerment (r =, 521, p <0,01) at moderate and low level (r =, 397, p <0,01) . The sub-dimensions of organizational ambidexterity reached the result of explaining the variance of the personnel empowerment variable in the range of 13.9% to 27.1%. In addition to these results, it was concluded that the personnel empowerment was positively influenced by the subscales of organizational ambidexterity by 29% [(β =, 297), (p <0.01)] and 52.1% [β =, 521, p <0.01].

Bu çalışmanın amacı işletmelerin karmaşık, değişken çevrede varlıklarını koruyup, fırsatları değerlendirerek kar maksimizasyonunu artırmayı hedefleyen bir yaklaşımlardan biri olan “örgütsel ustalık” ile personelin nitelik ve etkinliğinin artırılmasını hedefleyen “personel güçlendirme” arasında ilişki olup olmayacağını varsa da ne yönlü bir ilişki olabileceğini tespit etmektir. Bu bağlamda araştırmada örgütsel ustalık çalışmalarının, personel güçlendirme çalışmaları üzerinde etkili olup olmayacağı temel hipotezinden yola çıkılarak araştırma hipotezleri kurulmuştur. Hipotezleri test etmek amacı ile Adana ilinde mobilya imalat sektöründe faaliyet gösteren 478 işletmede çalışan 342 personel üzerinde anket uygulaması yapılmış ve elde edilen veriler SPSS programı ile analiz edilmiştir. Elde edilen bulgulara göre, örgütsel ustalığın alt boyutları ile personel güçlendirme arasında (r=,521, p<0,01) ve (r=,397, p<0,01) orta ve düşük düzeyde, pozitif yönlü anlamlı korelasyon olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Örgütsel ustalığın alt boyutlarının personel güçlendirme değişkenine ait varyansı %13,9 ile %27,1 oran aralığında açıkladığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Bu sonuçlara ek olarak personel güçlendirmenin, örgütsel ustalığın alt boyutlarından %29 [(β=,297), (p<0.01)] ile %52.1 [(β=,521), (p<0.01)] oranında pozitif yönde etkilendiği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.
