The term "amyloidosis" relates to a heterogeneous group of disorders characterized by extracellular deposition of a proteinaceous fibrillar * cumhuriyet üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi, material in various tissues and organs. There are two types oi cutaneous amyloidosis: primary and secondary. Primary cutaneous amyloidosis consist of macular, papular and nodular forms. There are very rare forms of cutaneous amyloidosis: poiklloderma-like, biphasic, bullous and dyschromic. The pathogenesis of cutaneous amyloidosis is not known and its treatment is difficult. Although cutaneous amyloidosis is a rare disorder, its ciinical manifestations should be known by all clinicians to avoid diagnostic failures.

Amlloidoz" terimi çeşitti doku ve organlarda protein yapısında fibrler bir materyalin (amlloid) ekstraselüler birikmesiyle karakterize heterojen bir grup hastalıkla ilişkilidir. İki tip kutanöz amlloidoz vardır: primer ve sekonder. Primer kutanöz amlloidoz maküler, papüler ve nodüler formlardan oluşur. Kutanöz amiloidozun nadir formları ise poiklloder-ma benzeri, bifazik, büllöz ve diskromiktir. Kutanöz amiloidozun pato-genezi bilinmemektedir ve tedavisi güçtür. Kutanöz amiloidoz nadir bir hastalık olmasına karşın, tanı hatalarından sakınmak için tüm kiinisyen-lerin bu hastahğın kiinik görünümlerini bllmesi gereklidir.
