The present investigation was an attempt to compare the quality of life, work motivation and occupational stress of private and public sector bank employees. The sample of the study was drawn from various public and private sector banks of Thiruvanathapuram District, Kerala State. The sample consists of a total number of 80 bank employees where 40 are from private sector and remaining 40 are from public sector. The data collected for three variables, using Quality of life scale, Work motivation questionnaire, and Occupational stress inventory. The result indicates that there was a significant difference between public and private sector bank employees on work motivation. But in the case of the variables quality of life, and occupational stress, there were no significant difference between the public and private sector bank employees.
