Abstract (2. Language):
University youth is a part of the society who will be at the upper echelon in the society by undertaking responsibilities in the future. In order to under-stand the young people and to provide the social politics that have been produced for them to be more functional it is essential to know the social profile of them. Globalization is affecting all societies and cultures in the 21st century. It is seen that while there are and will be different life styles as a reaction to globalization, similar life styles occur all around the world. The social class which is most affected by this change and transformations is young people. In the context of globalization similar popular youth cul-tures are seen all around the world. Yet, it is still not possible to mention a solemn youth identity. While youth identities differentiates according to the countries‟ national culture, according to other variables such as social gender, social class, family structure, education, job, residence (urban or rural), religion, ethnicity, consumption etc., different cultural patterns oc-cur. Parallel to the globalization and social and cultural change which tur-key is experiencing, university youth shows both individualistic and socie-ty culture features. In this context, a youth reality which has a multiple cul-tural pattern occurs rather than postmodern culture including the features of both traditional and modern cultures. Data presented in this article, are based on the study of “Sociological Profiles of Universty Youth” which has been conducted for 12 years, from 2001 to 2013. In İnönü University case, in 12 years, total number of students to whom the questionnaire were con-ducted is 48315.

Abstract (Original Language):
İnönü Üniversitesi uygulama-sında, on iki yıl içerisinde birikimsel olarak anket uygulanan öğrenci sayısı 48315 öğrencidir.
