Abstract (2. Language): 
Joseph Harold Greenberg was one of the most important linguists of 20 th century. He classiÞed African languages into four main groups in his “The Languages of Africa” published in 1963. He called all of American languages as Amerind, Eskimo-Aleut and Na-dene. Greenberg’s most important proposal was Eurasiatic macro family. This family includes Etruscan, Indo-European, Uralic-Yukaghir, Altaic, Korean-Japanese-Ainu, Gilyak, Chukotian and Eskimo-Aleut languages. In this essay, the quantity of Turkish words in the Greenberg’s book is given and some more words are added to them.

Joseph Harold Greenberg 20. yüzyılın en önemli dilcilerinden biriydi. O, 1963’te Afrika Dilleri adlı eserinde Afrika dillerini dört ana grupta topladı. Bütün Amarika dillerini Amerind, Eskimo Aleut ve Na-dene olarak adlandõrdõ. Greenberg’in en önemli tekliÞ ise Avrasyatik büyük ailesi idi. Bu aile Etrüsk, Hint-Avrupa, Ural-Yukagir, Altay, Kore-Japon-Aynu, Gilyak, Çukçi, Eskimo-Aleut dillerini içerir. Bu makalede Greenberg’in eserindeki Türkçe kelimelerin sayısal değerleri verilmekte ve bu kelimelere bazı eklemeler yapılmaktadõr.
