Cutaneous emergency is not so frequent. But some cutaneous adverse drug reactions are frequent, occurring in 3% of hospitalized patients. There are some important diseases as toxic shock syndrome, every cause of erythroderma, angio-oedema and some cutaneous infections, inflammations, collagenous diseases need early diagnosis and convenient management. Otherwise a very large spectrum of autoimmune disorders is subject matter of urgent conditions in dermatological practice.

Dermatolojik acil durumlara çok sık rastlan ılmamaktadır. Ancak hastanelerde yatan hastalar ın %3 kadarı advers ilaç etkileşimleri gösterebilmektedir. Toksik epidermal nekroliz, stafilokoksik haşlanmış deri sendromu, toksik şok sendromu, bütün eksfolatif dermatit nedenleri, angioödem ve bazı deri infeksiyon, inflamasyonlar ı ile kollagen hastalıklar erken tanı konularak uygun tedavi yaklaşımını zorunlu kılmaktadır. Öte yandan dermatoloji pratiğinde oldukça geniş bir spektrumu içeren otoimmün hastalıklar da acil yaklaşım kapsamında değerlendirilmektedir.
