Abstract (2. Language): 
In the present study, the changes m third molar space in subjects treated with and without first premolar extraction were investigated. The changes of molar space were compared ivllh 16 mandibular first premolar extraction and 19 non-extraction cases. The changes in the extraction group were compared with those in the non-extraction group. A significant increase in the molar spcacc was seen In both groups, but the increase the cxraclion group was higher than tint of the other one,

Bu çalışmada 1. premolar çekimli vc çekimsiz olarak tedavi edilen ortodontik vakalarda 3. molar boşluğunda meydana gelen değişim değerlendirildi -Araştırma 16 adet 1. premolar çekimli ve 19 adet çekimsiz vaka üzerinde yapıldı, Yapılan çalışmanın sonucunda tedavi öncesine göre tedavi sonrasında her iki grupla da serbest aralığın istatistiksel alarak önemli bir derecede arttığı vc bu artışın çekimli vakalarda çekimsizlere nazaran daha fazla olduğu belirlendi
