CRYOSURGERY IN THE TREATMENT OF BENIGN ORAL LESIONS

Abstract (2. Language): 
This present study was carried out at Atatürk University Dentistry Faculty Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery clinic on 67 patients having soft tissue tumors and inflammatory gingival hiperplasia in their oral cavities. The patients were divided into two groups. The lesions in the first group were treated with cryosurgery, and the lesions in the second group with excisioiuil surgery. In the study, it was evaluated in terms of the results of tissue loss, progress of infection, local inflammation, hemorragia, and clinical interference duration. On the 301h day, clinical evaluation was made. Tt was examined whether there was a relapse during the intervals changing from 3 months to 4 years. As a result, in this study was observed that, in cryosurgery, there was an applications facility, no tissue loss and scar, and there was esthetic healing, no relapse.

Bu çalışma, Atatürk Üniversitesi Diş Hekimliği Fakültesi Ağız-Uis Çene Hastalıkları ve Cerrahisi Kliniğine baş vuran, ağ\v. boşluğunda ki yumuşak doku lümörü ve îllihabi diş eti büyümesi tanısı koyduğumuz, toplam 67 hasta üzerinde yapıldı- Hnsüılar iki gruba ayrıldı. Birinci gruptaki hastaların ağı/- kavitelerinde ki patolojik oluşumlar kriyocerrahi ile tedavi edilirken, ikinci gruptaki hastaların ağız kavitelerinde ki lezyoıılar eksizyonel eerrahi ile çıkarıldı- Postopcratif olarak klinik müdahale süresi, lıemoraji, lokal enflamasyon, enfeksiyon gelişimi vc doku kaybı değerlendirildi. Otuzuncu günde klinik değerlendirmeler yapılmış, üç ay ve 4 yıl değişen zaman aralıklarında rezidiv olup olmadığına bakılmıştır. Sonuç olarak kriyoccnrahide, uygulama kolaylığı olduğu, doku kaybı olmadan skarsız, estetik iyileşme olduğu ve rezidiv olmadığı görülmüştür.
