The businesses has to take into consideration the enviromental factors owing to the fact that occured the environmental problems in the course of the time and the depletion of natural resources. One of the most prominent examples of it is green supply chain, the effect and necessity of reverse logistics, an element of the green supply chain are due to the general problems of environmental economics. The most importan t areas of reverse logistics are recycling methods and reuse. Wastes obtained as a result of the supply chain, are returning back to the manufacturer as a raw material and putting into the production again. In this study, the practices of the reverse logistics on 110 producing companies operating in Trakya region is chosen with the method of convinence sampling. According to the research findings, it was determined that %30,9 of the companies highly implemented a method of reverse logictics, %66,4 partially implemented it and %2,7 has never put the reverse logictics into practice.

Zamanla ortaya çıkan çevre sorunları ve doğal kaynakların tükenmeye başlaması ile işletmeler çevre faktörlerini dikkate almak zorunda kalmışlardır. Bunun en önemli örneklerinden biri yeşil tedarik zinciri uygulamalarıdır. Yeşil tedarik zincirinin bir elemanı olan ters lojistiğin etkisi ve gerekliliği çevre ekonomisinin genel problemlerinden kaynaklanır. Ters lojistikte en önemli alanlar geri dönüşüm yöntemleri ve yeniden kullanımdır. Tedarik zincirinin sonucunda elde edilen atıklar, ters lojistik sistemi ile üreticiye hammadde olarak geriye dönmekte ve yeniden üretime sokulmaktadır. Bu çalışmada, Trakya bölgesinde faaliyet gösteren 110 üretim işletmesi kolayda örnekleme yöntemiyle seçilmiştir. Araştırma bulgularına göre anket uygulanan işletmelerin %30,9'u ters lojistik faaliyetlerini büyük bir oranda uyguladıklarını, %66,4'ü kısmen uyguladıklarını ve %2,7'si hiç uygulamadıklarını belirtmişlerdir.
