Abstract (2. Language):
In parallel with the extension of the suffrage, voting behaviour literature has been enriched by theories with different approaches. In the first place, studies in this realm were focused on the effect of voting behavior on allocation of seats and they have become more focused on decision making processes and factors affecting on decisions that will become political behavior later on. Besides, improvements in research methods and developments in computer technologies have made deeper analyses of the effects of multiple factors possible. In this study, basic assumptions, predictions and weaknesses of the models of voting behavior will be discussed comparatively.
