In this study. factors affecting the nature of the entrepreneurship and difference in understanding of
investing between the entrepreneurs, as related to inequality of regional income level. have been investigated
in the framework of SMEs. Accepting that entrepreneurs use sources effectively, factors affecting the capacity
use have been studied. among the entrepreneurs of Marmara, a developed region, and of Eastern Anatolia, a
developing region, taking into account the difference of their views and values which they share on innovative
investments. It is observed that entrepreneurs of the Marmara Region utilize the economic sources more
effectively than those of Eastern Anatolian Region and that they exhibit different trends as far as the use of
resources is of concern. It is concluded that an important factor influencing the use of trend of sources is R&D
activities and a larger market share in the Marmara Region. On the other hand, in the Eastern Anatolian
Region, an increase of capacity is secured by the labor-intensive production. Consequently. relatively lower
value-added production is achieved in the region.
