Abstract (2. Language):
Cardiovascular diseases are the main cause of morbidity and | mortality in dialysis patients. Hypertension in dialysis patients is ; clearly a major cardiovascular risk factor. Dissecting aortic aneurysm, leading frequently to stroke as a cause of sudden death, is significantly higher in chronic dialysis patients. Here we report a case of acute aortic dissection in a 3Tyear-old patient, who underwent continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis.
